Euripides

The ancient Greek playwright Euripides wrote these words in his tragedy “Iphigenia in Tauris,” a story of a woman thrust into forced servitude to the goddess Artemis at the Temple of Artemis while her family back home is in turmoil. Though Iphigenia’s misfortunes may not resemble our modern plights, Euripides reminds us that even our worst circumstances can hold the possibility of good: Often, it's when we reach rock bottom that we're able to start changing our lives.
